INTELLIGENT GROW LIGHTS FROM GENOPTIC

Genoptic's technology offers an advanced intelligent IC - power chip designed to miniaturize and optimize power distribution and efficiency. With improved efficiency, Genoptic's solutions become industry leaders in reducing overall power consumption and extending product life.

The vertical indoor farming method is designed to produce food all year round, regardless of the weather or season. The goal is to save space, water, fertilizers and pesticides and to protect the climate and soil.

Given the rapid urbanization in many regions of the world, the idea of soilless cultivation is playing an increasingly important role in discussion about the future of agriculture. Vertical indoor farming is a prominent example of this: lettuce, green leafy vegetables and herbs in particular grow in closed buildings, stacked on high shelves. They are grown in hydroponic or aeroponic systems in which the plants do not have roots in soil. The nutrients are made available to the plants via water or in the form of a fine mist.

Thanks to the closed systems, little or no pollutants from the indoor farming factories enter the soil and groundwater. Since the plants are less exposed to pathogens, fewer pesticides are needed. Computers control LED lighting, irrigation, room temperature and nutrient content allowing plants to grow quickly. These optimal conditions make it possible to achieve high yields of lettuce, herbs and leafy vegetables. According to a study, the yield can be up to ten times higher than in conventional farming. Water is also conserved: At Nordic Harvest, Europe's largest vertical indoor farm in Denmark, the plants need 95 percent less water thanks to a recycling system. This lower water requirement is a major advantage in the conditions of the climate crisis. The smaller area requirement also eases pressure on soil and land use. In recent years, vertical indoor farming has experienced a major boom. Corporations such as Würth, Walmart, Lidl and Rewe have now invested billions in this new business model.

Genoptic brings its cutting-edge smart technology that reduces power consumption and maximizes plant growth to the indoor grow industry.

Genoptic is proud to introduce the indoor horticulture industry's first artificial intelligence (AI) LED grow lighting solution based on IC Smart Power Chip technology.

A lighting spectrum with different pigments and light intensities is ideal for maximizing plant growth. Genoptic has patented technology to provide a customized lighting method that includes wavelength, lumen strength, geometry and duration, tailored to each specific plant type.

Genoptic's artificial intelligence and responsive system uses sensors to detect the light reflected from the plant and modifies it through an automatically programmable lighting recipe. Light emission is controlled using real-time feedback parameters. The result is superior growth performance tailored to the plant species, lower energy costs and maximum photosynthesis.
